NOTE: This is a good time of year
to observe Starlings.   The bill colour change is already happening to these birds.
Their bills are changing from black to yellow breeding condition. Soon it will be possible to determine the sex
of the birds as the male develops a blue-ish tinge around the nostrils while the female bill  stays all yellow.
